VeloNews also reports record year-to-date advertising sales. Ad revenue is up 7.7% for the year, setting a pace that is expected to break company records. Driving ad revenue growth is velonews.com, which has grown 42.5% year-over-year. For the second time since its launch in 1994, velonews.com advertising sales exceeded print ad sales for the month of July.

“18 months of investment in VeloNews is paying off”, said Andy Pemberton, Publisher. “We redesigned the magazine and overhauled the website from the ground up. We’ve added talented new production and content staff, and we’re producing more content now than ever before. Our readers are noticing these changes, and I’m happy to say that advertisers and newsstand consumers are, too.”
