U.S. Postal heads to Austin
The U.S. Postal service team kicks off its 2002 campaign on Wednesday with the start of the team’s first training camp of the season, held in Austin, Texas, hometown of three-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong. The week-long camp has been held in Austin for each of the last three seasons, with Armstrong and company training on many of his favorite rides, typically in the Texas "Hill Country" west of Austin.
