Strade Bianche announces teams for 2016 race
Strade Bianche invites 12 WorldTour teams and six Pro Continental teams, primarily Italian outfits, to its 2016 race on Tuscany's gravel roads.

RCS Sport, organizer of the up-and-coming Strade Bianche classic race, announced Thursday the 18 teams invited to race on Tuscany’s gravel roads this March. The 176km men’s race will be contested by 12 WorldTour teams and six Pro Continental teams, March 5 in Sienna, Italy.
The women’s edition of the race is the first event on the UCI Women’s WorldTour calendar, and as such, the top 20 teams in the UCI rankings will receive automatic invitations.
