The Schleck brothers will have a luxurious ride next season, but the team has yet to reveal the name of its new title sponsor.

The Schleck brothers have announced that Mercedes-Benz Luxembourg will provide the Luxembourg-backed team with a fleet of vehicles next season. Officials from the Luxembourg Pro Cycling Project confirmed that Mercedes-Benz Luxembourg will supply a fleet of cars, mini-buses, trucks and luxury buses to the new squad, the first of its kind from the tiny landlocked Duchy.

A top Mercedes official, Gerhard Roth, said in a statement Thursday: “We look forward to… supporting the ambitious goal of winning the Tour de France for Luxembourg with this new team.

“This partnership with the Luxembourg Pro Cycling Project fits well with our brand philosophy of ‘The best or nothing.'”

Brian Nygaard, General Manager of the Luxembourg Pro Cycling Project, said: “We are an international team with a deep commitment to Luxembourg.

“A big part of our fan base is here, our riders Andy and Frank Schleck live here with their families, and now, we will also have our partner Mercedes-Benz Luxembourg, which has been firmly connected to the country and its people for more than a hundred years.”

The title sponsor backing the team is still unknown, however. Many are wondering who is behind the effort to create then new, high-profile team which is hoping to earn ProTour status for 2011.

Trek, meanwhile, has been confirmed as new bicycle sponsor for the team.
