The first race of the season is Dawn ’til Dusk in Gallup, New Mexico, on April 12th. A fun and fast course in the desert southwest. Racers come out from all over the Western United States to be apart of this 13-mile circuit that will go literally, from Dawn ’til Dusk. The tough, dry terrain will leave racers wondering if they really can endure…

The second race of the season is the Front Range 50 at Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood, Colorado on May 17th. This is a new race on a new 10-mile course at Bear Creek. Specially designed by pro-mountain bike racers, this course promises to be “rippin’ fast” as owner of Warriors Cycling and pro-mountain bike racer, Thane Wright describes it. Front range racers will be lining up for this one!

The Breckenridge 100 is back and is not only a part of the Rocky Mountain Ultra, but is also in the National Ultra Endurance Series this year as well. In Breckenridge, Colorado, on July 19th, the race is expected to have a full docket of racers from all over the country to show up and enjoy this backcountry classic. So, racers that have done the rest will be coming out to “Take the Test”.

The Laramie Enduro 111k is a favorite in Northern Colorado. It sits in a perfect area just across the Colorado border in Laramie, Wyoming, to take place on July 26th. The race is limited to 350 participants, and is expected to fill up. The course is located in the beautiful Happy Jack recreation area of Medicine Bow National Forest and covers all kinds of terrain with over 8600 feet of climbing.

The last of the series is 12 hours of Snowmass in Snowmass, Colorado, on September 14th. An exciting twelve hour mountain bike race on Snowmass Mountain, from 8 am to 8 pm. The 10-mile course comprised mainly of singletrack has it all. 12 Hours of Snowmass is a benefit for two local non-profit youth organizations, Aspen Youth Center and Extreme Sports Camp.
