UCI releases first round of Continental rankings

The Union Cycliste Internationale has released its first set of Continentalrankings in keeping with the comprehensive restructuring of internationalracing that came into effect this year. With the the 2005 cycling seasonunderway in America (North and South America), Asia and Oceania, the UCIhas released the first leaders’ individual rankings on these continents. The first leader jerseys of these rankings, which mark the beginningof a new era for cycling sport, will be worn from the 1st to the 28th ofFebruary 2005 by the following riders: UCI America Tour:José Rujano Guillen (VEN)UCI Asia
