PARIS (AFP) – Veteran Canadian cycling champion Svein Tuft will ride for the GreenEdge team next season, the Australian outfit announced on Wednesday.

The 34-year-old SpiderTech rider was a silver medal winner in the time trial at the 2008 world championships.
He becomes the 11th signing by the Australian team, which is targeting a place in the first division, with other recent arrivals including Dutch rider Jens Mouris, 31, from Vacansoleil and Australian Simon Clarke, 25, from Astana.
