Noè isn’t retiring yet, Nibali to Slovenia

Andrea Noè, the oldest active rider in the peloton, says he will finish out the season.

At 41, Noè has raced 18 seasons, dating back to his first pro season in 1993. He raced with Mapei (1994-96; 1999-2002) and with Alessio and Liquigas before joining Flaminia in 2010.

The team was overlooked in a bid to start the Giro d’Italia, but Noè said he feels good with the team will ride at least through the end of the season.

Noè will join Flaminia teammates, including Riccardo Riccò, in the upcoming Tour of Slovenia starting Thursday.

Also racing in Slovenia will be Vincenzo Nibali (Liquigas), racing for the first time since finishing third at the Giro d’Italia.
