Kelly Benefit Strategies’ Jesse Anthony wins Norwegian stage race, the Festningsrittet

The American from Kelly Benefit Strategies takes the overall at the cat. 2.2 Festningsrittet three-day event.

Jesse Anthony (Kelly Benefit Strategies) won this weekend’s Festningsrittet stage race in Norway after finishing second in two of the race’s three stages.

Anthony, 25, won the overall title of the UCI category 2.2 race by three seconds ahead of Bert-Jan Lindeman (Cyclingteam Jo Piels). KBS’ Neil Shirley finished fifth overall and was fourth on stage 1.

Teammates Alex Candelario and Scott Zwizanski were 21st and 26th, respectively.
