There’s job security for the top names at Garmin-Transitions for 2010 as the squad officially unveils its official lineup for the upcoming season.

Christian Vande Velde and Daniel Martin have all penned contract extensions that will keep them in team jerseys through 2012 while Dave Zabriskie has signed a contract extension through 2013.

The news is especially sweet for Vande Velde, who’s ridden to back-to-back top-10s at the Tour de France and who’s expecting more in the upcoming season.

“I’ve come a long way with Team Garmin-Transitions in a short time,” Vande Velde said in a team release. “I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve done as part of this team and I’m excited to see what the next three years hold.”

All three are considered the foundation for the elite American team, with Zabriskie continuing to shine in time trials, Martin looking to continue his upward trajectory and Vande Velde hoping to capitalize on his Tour de France ambitions.

While the team has lost the services of Bradley Wiggins in a long, drawn-out drama in a move to Sky, the core of the squad remains intact.

In addition to the trio of Zabriskie, Vande Velde and Martin, longtime captain David Millar and sprint ace Tyler Farrar will keep the team on solid footing.

“We’re poised well for 2010. Our roster is strong and versatile, with some of the world’s best riders returning to us, and the addition of others,” said Jonathan Vaughters, CEO of Slipstream Sports. “This year we will look to build on Tyler’s success by adding leadout guys. We’ve added climbers to help Christian in the mountains and we’ve rounded out our classics team. With Christian, Dan and David signing on the next few years, we’ve built a foundation that we will be able to enhance in years to come. Looking ahead to 2010, we expect to be competitive throughout the year.”
