GreenEDGE signs Bobridge and the Meyer brothers

New Australian team GreenEDGE has rolled out the first of many arrivals for its debut season next year.
Not surprisingly, the first names are Australian, with Jack Bobridge, and Cameron and Travis Meyer coming on board, all riders with strong links to the GreenEDGE management staff.
The trio had strong ties to GreenEDGE general manager Shayne Bannan, who helped nurture the promising talent as part of the Australian Institute of Sport.
More names are expected in the coming days as GreenEDGE has been busy on the market, scooping riders to round out its 25-man roster going into 2012.
All three leave Garmin-Cervélo for what will be Australia’s first major European pro team.
The departures were no surprise to Garmin team manager Jonathan Vaughters, who wrote on his Twitter: “Our takes are better than our gives. But only time will prove that to be true.”
