Frischkorn wins espoir RR; Caldwell and Long take junior crit titles

On Friday, Saturn’s Will Frischkorn won the espoir national championship road race in Clemson, South Carolina, beating out Patrick McCarty of the U.S. national team. Frischkorn, McCarty and Jonathan Erdelyi (Brielle Cyclery) broke away on the fourth and final lap of the 21-mile course, and Frischkorn dropped the other two on the difficult 3-mile, 15 percent climb to the finish.
