Belarusian Yauheni Hutarovich (FdJ) pipped Argentina’s Lucas Sebastian Haedo (Saxo Bank) to victory after a furious bunch sprint in the third stage of the Tour of Poland on Tuesday.

Hutarovich emerged from a cluster of back wheels on the home straight of the 122km stage to beat Saxo Bank’s Haedo by inches.

Astana’s Allan Davis finished third to retain the race leader’s yellow jersey.

Davis now holds a three-second lead on HTC-Columbia’s Andre Greipel, the winner of Monday’s stage. Hutarovich is in fourth, 4 seconds back.
