Matt Brammeier of MTN-Qhubeka (which will become Dimension Data in 2016) is giving the new Rotor Uno drivetrain and disc brakes a go as he prepares for 2016.
The four-time Irish national road race champion tweeted a photo of the new equipment from a Thursday afternoon test ride on Belgian roads.
Teams will have disc brakes at their disposal in the coming season after a recent decision to trial widespread use of the technology in the pro peloton. Between the Rotor Uno drivetrain and the newly-legal disc brakes, it looks like it’s going to be all about hydraulics at Dimension Data in the new year.
