There is racing beyond Flanders week and the wheel keeps turning across Europe. Renaud Dion won with a late attack out of a six-man breakaway to earn a trip to the podium at the 198km Route Adélie de Vitré in France.

Gianni Meersman (FDJ) cross the line second with Steven Tronet (RLM) rounding out the podium at three seconds back.

Team Type 1 got Javier Megias into an earlier breakaway and later, Alexander Efimkin tried in vain to bridge across to the winning break with 5km to go.
