RadioShack’s Robbie Hunter has pulled out of the Tour of Flanders because of bruising to his ribs and back, his RadioShack team said Friday.

The South African sprinter crashed Thursday, during the Three Days of De Panne, a race ultimately was won by Belgium teammate Sebastien Rosseler.

Twenty-year-old Polish rider Michal Kwiatkowski, who finished third at De Panne, has been called in to replace Hunter.
