The Junior Pro Cycling Tour is inviting boys, ages 18 and under, totest their cycling skills at qualifying events for a chance to race inthe Junior PCT Grand Prix.  The event is an invitational points racefor 20 junior male cyclists scheduled to take place at the Wachovia USPROChampionship on June 5, 2005 in Philadelphia.The top 20 qualifiers will race for prizes valuing $1000 on June 5thin the Junior PCT Grand Prix on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway after thefinish of the women’s Wachovia Liberty Classic and approximately on lap6 of the Wachovia USPRO Championship.  The 5-mile race consists of3.5 laps between Eakins Oval and Logan Circle.The top 5 junior riders, age 18 and under, will be selected from eachqualifying event:

Junior PCT Grand Prix
Course: Benjamin Franklin Parkway – 3 ½ Laps betweenEakins Oval and Logan Circle, using the Wachovia USPRO Championships Start/Finisharea.
Total race distance: 5 miles
Time: The event will take place after the finish of the women’sWachovia Liberty Classic and approximately on lap-6 of the men’s WachoviaUSPRO Championship while the pros are out on the course.
Format: Points Race, sprint every lap scored 5 deep (3 sprintstotal) and 10 places for a $1,000 value overall prize list. Sprint everylap scored 5 deep (3 sprints total, for 7,5,3,2,1 points)   10places overall.
