€ National Bicycle Dealers Association (NBDA) Vital at every level of each organization, the annual funding allows many ofthese groups to achieve specific annual goals. “The Interbike funding will allow us to establish a retailer scholarshipfund for the National Bike Summit,” said Andy Clarke, Executive Director atthe League of American Bicyclists. “By helping to increase retailerattendance at the summit, the bicycle industry can become a larger part ofthe picture in Washington. These funds are a significant investment for thefuture of cycling,” Clarke added. “Interbike recognizes the importance of the dealer, and has been the NBDA’slargest single supporter for many years,” said Fred Clements, NBDA ExecutiveDirector. “Interbike has a direct role in numerous projects that benefitretailers, such as the Super Seminars, consumer and trade research, the Costof Doing Business study and various other programs we undertake to help ourindustry.” “Interbike has played a significant role in the growth of Bikes Belong andwe’re very appreciative,” said Gary Sjoquist, Director of MembershipDevelopment. “Lance and his crew understand the value of our industryworking together so we can all sell more bicycles and accessories.” “Interbike has been one of IMBA¹s biggest supporters for more than a dozenyears,” said Pete Webber, IMBA¹s Membership & Communications Director.”These monies directly fund an extensive resource center on the IMBAwebsite.
