Vicenza, April 14 2004 – Campagnolo’s complete wheels are renownedfor their lightness, smoothness, sturdiness and reliability. A reputationachieved thanks to the quality and performance of the Nucleon low-profilewheels introduced in 1999. Research conducted on a fully integrated projectencompassing rims, spokes and hubs, resulted in the creation of ideal bicyclewheels that are reactive during short sprints yet nevertheless comfortableeven on long rides.
Basing itself on these already solid foundations, Campagnolo soon expanded its wheel collection, presenting two new low-profile models followed by another four models from the new medium-profile range, characterised by particular G3 spoking.Seeing the enormous success enjoyed by these wheels, Campagnolo is now proposing them with an HG-compatible freewheel body. In this way Campagnolo offers users of drive trains made by other manufacturers the opportunity of benefiting from the marvellous quality and performance of its complete wheels. This is why all wheel models by Campagnolo are now available with HG-compatible freewheel bodies.A special Campagnolo HG-compatible freewheel body is also available separately for those wishing to replace their original Campagnolo component with an HG-compatible model. The freewheel body is available in two versions: it can either be fitted with a titanium pawl carrier (ref. code WH-KX1) or with a pawl carrier made of steel (ref. code WH-KX2). Only the Scirocco and Vento models require a third model, identified by product reference code WH-KX3.
