The UCI Australian Pegasus Sports team was disappointed by the UCI’s list of 2011 Pro Continental squads, released Friday. The team was not on the list but has until Dec. 15 to submit missing paperwork to earn the designation.

The ambitious team had originally hoped to secure a top level ProTeam status for next year, but failed to make that cut based on its results. The UCI did not specify what paperwork was missing from the application for the second-tier status. Team officials were not immediately available Friday to comment.
