Vancouver Sun: BC Superweek gets a boost

Cycling’s BC Superweek seemed a little less super last year with no mid-week races to bridge the gap between well established weekend anchors Tour de Delta and Tour de White Rock.

But some of the lustre will be restored this July with the return of the Giro di Burnaby after a two-year absence and the introduction of a new event, the UBC Grand Prix, a 65-lap criterium that will use University Boulevard for part of its 1.1-kilometre route.
