Meanwhile, for people looking to buy a DVD of the “Race Across the Sky” film that documents the 2009 LT100 that featured Lance Armstrong and Dave Wiens, it should be out sometime in spring 2010.
The “Race Across The Sky” Documentary premiered in 700 theaters across the country on Oct. 22 2009, followed by an encore Presentation on Nov. 12.
“It’s currently being shown in 200 theaters in Canada and 300 in Australia,” said Kathy Bedell, the LT100 media rep. “From there the film may be shown on TV and then eventually make it to DVD. The Leadville Trail 100 anticipates having the DVD available for sale in its online store sometime in spring 2010.”
