Two free events surrounding USA Cycling’s world’s team training camp in Charlottesville, Virginia next week will allow fans to mingle with athletes.

On September 17, worlds team riders will attend Cycle Fest at the nTelos Wireless Pavillion from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A press conference with the team will set off the event, which will also feature panel discussions, an expo area, free bike inspections, and bike decorating for kids. Team USA riders will be mingling throughout.

On Monday, September 14, the Paramount theater will host a screening of Ride the Divide, a film about the Tour Divide, one of the most difficult races in the world. The event will begin with a discussion from pro cyclist Andrea Dvorak and Andy Guptil on endurance training and preparation.

Both events are free to the public.
