Jonathan Page signs with XcelLED
XcelLED, a specialty maker of LED lamps, has partnered up with Jonathan Page for the 2014 cyclocross season.
“We are excited to announce we have signed Jonathan Page to represent XcelLED for the coming season,” said Bob Downs, former owner of Planet Bike, one of Page’s previous sponsors. “Jonathan is an icon in American and European cyclocross and we feel he can get the word out on both sides of the pond about XcelLED.” Page will first represent XcelLED at CrossVegas Wednesday.
Nicole Duke extends partnership with Marin and Spy for 2014-2015 season
Nicole Duke’s one-women team will largely focus on domestic C1 races throughout the 2014-15 season as she continue to work with sponsors Marin and Spy.
“We’ve been making headway in terms of product development,” said Duke. “I’m excited to test a new fork for Marin this year that will eventually equate to a new frame. This is my fourth season with Spy. … They’re supportive in whatever I want to do. It’s ideal for an individual program.”
Vanderkitten announces return to cyclocross for 2014-2015 season
One of the most recognized brands in women’s cycling, Vanderkitten, is returning to cyclocross this fall for the 2014-2015 racing season.
Vanderkitten Cyclocross will compete in domestic UCI events with a focus on developing riders for international competition and building a sustainable program for future seasons. Riders for the 2015 VKCX program include: Rebecca Gross, Carolina Gomez Villafañe, and junior Kennedy Hill.
Vanderkitten continues its relationship with many existing road program sponsors, and rekindles a successful relationship with Ibis Cycles.
Jenson USA to sponsor SoCalCross’ Prestige Series season
Southern California-organized cycling received a major boost earlier this month when Jenson USA, announced that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with SoCalCross’s multi-race Prestige Series for the 2014-2015 season.
“We couldn’t be more pleased to once again have the support of Jenson USA for our growing Prestige Series of cyclocross events,” said Dorothy Wong, organizer of the Prestige Series.
