Wheat Ridge Cyclery’s annual Pro Night expo gives the general public a rare opportunity to mingle in an intimate environment with the cycling industry’s most influential leaders. Throughout the night professionals will share their training and motivational expertise, cycling legends will tell their stories of the most exciting moments of the sport’s rich history, and industry representatives will give guests insight on new products and the industry’s newest developments.
New to Wheat Ridge Cyclery’s Pro Night 2001 is the Women’s Specific Program hosted by 1984 Olympic Gold Medallist Connie Carpenter-Phinney, president and chief architect of Carpenter/Phinney Bike Camp.
The Wheat Ridge Cyclery Pro Night 2001 legendary lineup includes Cristina Begy, Travis Brown, Connie Carpenter-Phinney, Mike Curiak, Alison Dunlap, Gary Fisher, Bob Fourney, Roland Green, Rishi Grewal, Jennifer Gutierrez, Matt Kelly, Ron Kiefel, Gail Longenecker, Ruthie Matthes, Ned Overend, Davis Phinney, Bob Roll, Heather Szabo, Ann Trombley, Nelson Vails, Erin Veenstra-Mirbella, Christian Vande Velde, and Jonathon Vaughters and more! Greg LeMond is also hoping to join the long list of celebrated guests for his third Pro Night appearance.
The cycling industry’s leading organizations presenting their goods and providing information for cyclists at the expo will include Bicycle Colorado, the newly organized Boulder Community Velodrome, Colorado Department of Transportation, Gary Fisher Bicycles, Independent Fabrication, Lemond Bicycles, Mavic, Serotta Bicycles, Shimano, Sidi, Titus Bicycles, Trail Conservation Services, Trek Bicycles, VeloNews and many more.
Wheat Ridge Cyclery is requesting a $10 donation for admission to Pro Night 2001. All proceeds will be donated to the Front Rangers Cycling Club and The Nicole Reinhart Foundation.
Front Rangers Cycling Club is a non-profit organization giving at-risk children the opportunity to broaden their horizons through cycling to offset the influences of gangs, drugs and other detrimental social conditions facing youth. The Nicole Reinhart Foundation is a new non-profit organization working to increase opportunities for young cyclists to succeed. This foundation was formed following the fatal racing accident of Saturn USPRO Cycling Team member, Nicole Reinhart in September.
