While the Horizon Print feels thick for a summer jersey, it’s made from a polyester-blend material that wicks moisture away from the skin for hot summer rides. It also uses Coldblack technology that protects against UV rays and reflects the sun’s heat to keep you cool. It seems to work well and we like it for a warm-weather jersey, but we don’t love the price tag.

The jersey is compressive without feeling restrictive. It has a flattering fit that hugs the body and flairs out slightly at the bottom so it won’t squeeze your waist when bent over in the riding position. A silicon gripper at the waist holds the jersey in place, however, so it won’t ride up when you ride hard.

It’s comfortable for long rides and has three full-sized reinforced rear pockets to carry all the extra items you need for a longer day on the bike. Bulky items like a rain jacket, phone, or snacks easily fit in the pockets without making them sag for an unflattering look.

At $175, it’s not the most expensive jersey we’ve tested but it is on the pricy side. We love the Horizon Print’s watercolor mountainscape design and it’s a fun choice if you’re looking for a unique kit that won’t look like anyone else in your group ride.
