The Louis Garneau Course Air Lite II shoes won a Eurobike award in 2017 for their X-Comfort Zone — a proprietary elastomer spandex zone on the outside of the shoe that allows the shoe to expand in the forefoot.
This accommodates feet of varying widths, and in testing, it seems to work very well.
The Course Air Lite shoes are exceptionally comfortable and alleviate a common pressure point that can lead to numbness and discomfort. These well-ventilated shoes also offer a snug, even fit thanks to the Boa TX lacing system with two dials and an internal lacing routing.
The shoes tend to run large, so consider sizing down.
