Nino Schurter won the 2010 overall World Cup XC title on his Scott Scale, which is on display at the Ritchey booth here at Interbike.
The Swiss rider’s Scott-Swisspower rig is spec’d with Ritchey and SRAM hardware, including Ritchey WCS bar ends, WCS Ergo grips, WCS V4 pedals, Syncros FL carbon flat bar, WCS 4-Axis 44 stem, SuperLogic Stubby seatpost, WCS carbon Streem saddle, SuperLogic carbon tubular wheels upon which Dugast 45mm tubular tires with Ritchey treads are mounted.
The 2011 Scale 26 frames are built with Scott’s IMP3 (Integrated Molding Process), in which larger sections of the frame are molded in a single piece, eliminating sections of tubes within the joints that add nothing structurally and replacing them with large hollow areas.
