Don't miss a moment from Paris-Roubaix and Unbound Gravel, to the Giro d’Italia, Tour de France, Vuelta a España, and everything in between when you join Outside+.

If you need a little extra training motivation this winter, look no further than the Sufferfest’s high-intensity training videos. These online and app-based videos provide structured workouts designed by world-class coaches and are paired with officially licensed UCI race footage for added motivation.

The Sufferfest has over 35 videos to choose from and each workout targets a different type of training so you can specifically work on your climbing, speed, endurance, racing, time trialing, or base riding. The videos walk you through each workout and provide on-screen instructions and sounds to tell you exactly how hard to push and how long each effort will last.

Workouts set target power numbers for each interval, based on your known or estimated functional threshold power (there’s a Sufferfest video test to determine your personal FTP number). So the effort level is the same, whether you’re a seasoned pro or just trying to get back in shape.

We’ve used the Sufferfest’s training videos for the past few years of winter training and it’s made all the difference for our early spring season races. The workouts are efficient, lasting only about 45 to 90 minutes total, but you’ll feel like you’ve been riding for hours thanks to the specific high-intensity workouts.

And even though we’re typically sweating out of our eyeballs and seeing double thanks to the challenging intervals, the Sufferfest’s UCI race footage is thoroughly entertaining. The footage is paired to match the workouts so you’ll be climbing through the Alps alongside Contador in the “Angels” workout or rubbing elbows with Cancellara during Paris-Roubaix in the “Downward Spiral” video.

The Sufferfest also has a training app that pairs with your power meter, heart rate strap, and smart trainer so you can follow the workout videos with your real-time power, cadence, and heart rate data on the screen as well. The app also collects your ride data so you can save, analyze, and upload workouts to Strava, Training Peaks, and more.
