A shift is happening in the cycling apparel world. Gone are the days when you had to choose between looking good and feeling good. Giro has jumped in the style game with its new Chrono line of cycling clothing that incorporates some of the company’s Italian style roots with the science behind its high-performance apparel.
The Chrono line comes in three levels: Pro for racers; Expert for high-end riders; and Sport for the more budget-conscious rider. Each level includes a jersey as well as an option for bibs or shorts. The Pro level focuses on snug, race fit with breathable and lightweight fabrics, while the Sport level has a looser, more relaxed fit. Each level is available for both men and women, and the women’s bibs feature a smart, loop over the neck design to make mid-ride restroom breaks easier.
Along with the three levels, Giro has developed the Chrono base layer, wind jacket and vest, and arm and knee warmers to cover all climes.
The Pro level is currently available at some retailers, while the Expert and Sport clothing will be available in early 2016.
