The sleek and stylish Perfetto jersey is a deceptively warm and versatile top that will get you through the deep freeze this winter. The long-sleeve jersey is built off of Castelli’s water-resistant Gabba platform, offering superb protection from the elements without the bulk of a heavy winter jersey.

The Perfetto is made with Gore’s lightweight Windstopper X-Lite Plus fabric that protects against icy winds while still offering impressive breathability. Gore’s four-way stretch fabric has a water repellent finish that helps keep you dry during light rain, sleet, and snow showers. Water droplets don’t soak into the jersey. Instead, water simply beads up and can easily be shaken off the jersey.

Three full-sized pockets line the back and offer plenty of room for extra cold weather gear like warm gloves, a hat, and even an extra jacket. Each of the jersey’s pockets has three small laser-cut drain holes at the bottom so your pockets won’t fill up with water during a downpour.

A long storm flap on the back of the jersey protects against wheel spray and a silicone gripper along the bottom keeps the jersey from riding up when you’re bent over and pedaling hard. And two zippered side vents offer extra ventilation if you start feeling too warm with this windproof and water-resistant top.

The Perfetto has a tailored cut for a sleek and stylish look. It fits snugly so don’t expect to get much more than a thin baselayer underneath. But that’s all you’ll need with the impressive warmth from the thin and lightweight design. The long, slim arms are just the right length for our gangly limbs, but longer, laser cut cuffs on each sleeve would have been better.
