After a year and a half of use and abuse, the HC jersey has become one of our go-to pieces. It combines everything we like: a bit of style, a lot of function, and a comfortable fit. There are only a few nitpicks — namely, the price tag and a tendency to collect sweat in really hot weather — but it has so far stood the test of time while showing off its exceptional durability and comfort.
It features a soft Meryl fabric that feels excellent against the skin. Combine that with sticky grippers at the laser-cut arms that extend up over the shoulders and you’ve got a jersey that stays in place in the most aggressive race positions. The fabric does have a tendency to hang onto moisture a bit more than we’d like, but this was only an issue on the hottest summer days.
The Italian-made top has a race cut that doesn’t constrict, largely due to the forgiving fabric. Flat-lock stitching sits comfortably against the skin, so wear this with or without a base layer.
You’ll pay a premium for it, but the HC Jersey has proven itself as a durable and comfortable match for our everyday rides.
