Kirsten Wild sprinted to her 10th career stage win in the Ladies Tour of Qatar Tuesday, beating Alé Cipollini’s Annalisa Cucinotta and Orica-AIS’s Lizzie Williams, who were second and third, respectively, after 97 kilometers of racing. With her win in Doha, the Dutch Hitec Products rider moves into the overall lead, seven seconds ahead, thanks to time bonuses. It’s a position that Wild knows well, having won the race’s GC title four times before — in 2009, 2010, 2013, and 2014.
On Wednesday, the four-day race faces a 120km stage from Sheikh Faisal Museum to Al Khor Corniche.
