Vervecken wins round 6 of Superprestige

World champion Erwin Vervecken won the sixth round of the Superprestige cyclo-cross series on Sunday in Diegem, Belgium, where he beat out fellow Belgians Mario De Clercq and Peter Van Santvliet. Sven Nijs, sixth on Sunday, retained the overall lead after six of eight rounds.
