If you’ve been watching the track racing at the Rio Olympics (and you should), some familiar names might be popping up on the TV. That’s because a handful of the top pro cyclists we follow all season long are also vying for medals at the Games. The men’s omnium competition is an especially good venue for a clash of cycling’s top sprinters, with Elia Viviani, Fernando Gaviria, and Mark Cavendish racing.

Based on this list of pro road cyclists taking on the Rio velodrome, it seems Great Britain and Australia have the most cross-over, with five riders apiece racing track.
