Luke Keough (UnitedHealthcare) and Theresa Cliff-Ryan (Fearless Femme-Pure Energy) took top honors Friday evening at the McNellie’s Group Blue Dome Criterium, round one of the Saint Francis Tulsa Tough weekend in Oklahoma.
The races were run under the lights on a figure-8 course in downtown Tulsa’s Blue Dome entertainment district.
In the men’s race, Keough led a UnitedHealthcare sweep of the podium, winning in 1:01:15 ahead of teammates Carlos Alzate and Karl Menzies.
The women’s race proved a bit more inclusive, with Cliff-Ryan scoring the victory in 51:15 ahead of Jacquelyn Crowell (Exergy Twenty16) and Christina Gokey-Smith (Rouse-Oogie Racing).
Racing continues Saturday with the George Kaiser Family FDN Brady Village Crit, run on a L-shaped course in the Brady Arts District. VeloNews.com is providing live streaming coverage of the day’s action.
