Katie Compton (Trek Cyclocross Collective) swept the weekend’s racing at the MudFund Derby City Cup in Kentucky.

Compton won round two at Louisville’s Eva Bandman Park on Sunday ahead of California Giant-Specialized teammates Elle Anderson and Meredith Miller.

Amanda Miller (Tibco-To the Top) took the hole shot, but Compton powered away in the second half of the first lap and once again she was gone for good.

Behind, the two Cal Giant riders worked together until Anderson gapped Miller and rode in for second.

Jeremy Powers (Rapha-Focus), meanwhile, avenged Saturday’s defeat at the hands of Ryan Trebon (Cannondale-Cyclocrossworld.com), taking Sunday’s contest ahead of Ben Berden (Raleigh-Clement) and Danny Summerhill (K-Edge-Felt).

Trebon, Berden, Summerhill and Adam Craig (Giant) had been off the front until first Tim Johnson (Cannondale) and then Powers bridged up with a lap and a half to go.

The six battled it out in the final go-round, and Trebon appeared to once again be bound for victory, until he laid it down in an off-camber corner. Powers then seized the lead and held it to the line, with Berden and Summerhill rounding out the podium.
