2011 Giro d’Italia, stage 2: Mark Cavendish and Marco Pinotti ride Specialized Venge

Caley Fretz got up close and personal with the Specialized Venges of Marco Pinotti and Mark Cavendish on stage 2.

The Giro’s first two leaders, Marco Pinotti and Mark Cavendish, were on the same bike for Sunday’s flat stage two: the Specialized Venge.

The Venge is Specialized’s first entry into the aero road frame market. It was first introduced at this year’s Milan San-Remo and HTC-Highroad riders have been slowly adopting it since. Most of the Giro squad has opted for the Venge, but all still have an SL3 available to them.
