Arley Kemmerer, Shawn Milne take round 2 of NBX GP

Arley Kemmerer (C3-Twenty20) and Shawn Milne (Keough Cyclocross) won round two of the NBX Gran Prix of Cyclocross on Sunday in Warwick, Rhode Island.

The weekend’s races served as rounds 11 and 12 of the Verge New England Cyclocross Series and rounds seven and eight of the Shimano New England Professional Cyclocross Series.

In women’s racing, Kemmerer took the victory over round-one winner Emma White (Cyclocrossworld.com). Laura Van Gilder (Van Dessel-Mellow Mushroom) rounded out the podium in third.

Milne took the men’s race ahead of Mike Garrigan (Van Dessel-Shimano) with Robert Marion (American Classic) third.
