The Pro Cyclocross calendar will include 45 races that will visit 25 cities over the course of a season that runs from September to January

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado — The 45-race American professional cyclocross circuit will travel to 25 cities during the 2015-2016 season, which runs from September to early January, USA Cycling announced Tuesday.

The Professional Cyclocross Calendar (Pro CX) features six UCI C1 events and 39 UCI C2 events, as well as eight junior men’s races and four U23 men’s races.

The 2015-16 Pro CX season will kick off on September 5 with the Full Moon Vista-Ellison Park Cyclocross Festival in Rochester, New York and conclude on January 2 with the Kingsport Cyclocross Cup in Tennessee.

Other season highlights include the Clif Bar CrossVegas UCI World Cup in Las Vegas on September 16 and the Pan American Continental Cyclocross Championships in Covington, Kentucky on November 1.

The Raleigh-Clement team dominated the Pro CX Calendar in 2014-15 as Jamey Driscoll and Caroline Mani claimed the series titles in their respective categories. Spencer Petrov (Element Cycles) is the defending champ in the junior men’s category.
