Preview: 2015 Tour de France — Stage 6

Abbeville to Le Havre (191.5km)

Thursday, July 9 | 6:55 a.m. EST – 11:35 a.m. EST

If the sun is out for stage 6, don’t miss the images of the finale: the exceptional setting of the coastal cliffs in the Pays de Caux with spectacular views of the Étretat needle. For the riders, though, the finale could be very complicated, especially if it is windy. Organizers have also included a hill with an average seven-percent gradient just before the finish. It tops out exactly 500 meters from the line, and is reminiscent of the Cauberg in the Amstel Gold Race. On paper, the stage will suit a puncheur more than a pure sprinter.
