MTB School League Scores $300K in Jerseys
Clothing supplier Primal Wear is making a three-year sponsorship agreement with the National Interscholastic Cycling Association, the group that coordinates high school mountain bike racing in six leagues.
The Denver-based clothing company will provide the league with $300,000 worth of custom cycling jerseys over three seasons.
NICA is hoping to expand its league to 11 over the next three years.
Primal will provide NICA and its teams with 5,200 jerseys each year for the next three years. Primal will also design and provide the leader’s jerseys for the league’s race series.
“NICA’s amazing student-athletes represent the future of competitive mountain biking and we are honored to help them as they work toward their racing goals,” said Dave Edwards, Primal Wear’s founder and CEO.
