For those of you keeping track of the Tour de France at work, we’re giving you another window to hide when the boss walks in.

Beginning with Saturday’s prologue time trial in Paris, VeloNews.com, in cooperation with AFP and Art Movies Inc., will be offering an Interactive FlashVersion of Tour coverage to supplement our exsisting coverage of the Tour de France.

Rest assured, that the graphics and bells and whistles are in addition to VeloNews.com’s already strong coverage. We’ll begin every day with live reports from the road by John Wilcockson, Andrew Hood and Rupert Guinness. As soon as each stage is complete, we’ll have complete results, followed by a stage report from Hood, post-race analysis from Wilcockson and Guinness’s …er… unique perspective on life at the Tour de France. We’ll also have stunning photographs from Graham Watson and Casey Gibson, as well as daily tech updates from Lennard Zinn and Andrew Juskaitis. And be sure to check back for diary entries from CSC’s Tyler Hamilton and the peloton’s newest rising star, Quick Step’s Michael Rogers.

Our additional flash features offer web surfers interactive route maps, profiles and live tracking of the peloton during each stage. The accompanying results section will not only offer you complete results, but each rider’s statistics, including age, height, weight, professional history and Tour experience.

Even in the days leading up to the Tour start, feel free to check it out. There’s plenty there to keep you interested. To take full advantage, you’ll need to have MacroMedia’s FlashPlayer installed on your system.

Go ahead, give it a try… and practice using that minimize button, too!
