PHONAK HEARING SYSTEMS
TYLER’S TEAM There were doubters who said that Tyler Hamilton was
making a mistake leaving CSC for a team that had never ridden the Tour.
Hamilton himself has said all along that moving to Phonak was a good decision,
and a partial confirmation came when his team dominated the six-day Tour
de Romandie in May, with Hamilton winning the race for a second time.
Impressive in both the time trials and the mountains, the American can achieve
his Tour goal of finishing on the podium. He’ll have Spanish star Oscar Sevilla
as his lieutenant and a solid support cast that includes Niki Aebersold, Oskar
Camenzind, Oscar Pereiro and Alex Zülle.
