CRÉDIT AGRICOLE
SPRINTERS HOLD THE ACES The French public would love to see
Christophe Moreau finish top five at the Tour, but his morale and health are
both too fragile for that to be a realistic prospect. Crédit Agricole would do
better to focus on trying to get stage wins from its solid sprinters Thor Hushovd
and Damien Nazon. On the climbing stages, Russian Alexander Botcharov
and Frenchman Benoît Salmon are capable of getting into some breakaways,
but they don’t have the horsepower to win one.
