CSC and Phonak have both announced their teams for the Tour De France. And, Boy, Oh, Boy are we happy to be apart of helping both teams perform at their best!

ZIPP Speed Weaponry is proud to be a part of the biggest bike event ever. We can see it all now, like a window on the world, the stage wins and the glory of combat as the winners of each team step up into the light.

CSC leads off with a great team: Carlos Sastre, Ivan Basso, Jens Voigt, Bobby Julich, Andrea Peron, Nicki Sørensen, Jakob Piil, Kurt-Asle Arvesen and Michele Bartoli.

"I am very happy to be able to present the nine riders, we have chosen for our Tour de France line-up. It has been a hard decision, and again this year we have had a luxury problem, because there are several strong riders, who didn't make it.

The decision is now made, and I think, everyone can see, that we have a strong team. We have some very proud traditions to live up to, and this year we have a team, which can go far. The resultsm we have delivered so far this season clearly show, that we have on our team a bunch of top motivated riders, who manage to follow aggressive and well considered tactics," says Bjarne Riis, Director of the Team. "It is a diverse team of riders, who are able to take home stage victories as well as make their presence known in the overall standings."

Phonak follows up with its own great team: Riding along with the leader Tyler Hamilton will be Oscar Sevilla, Santi Perez, José Gutierrez, Oscar Pereiro, Santos Gonzalez, Bert Grabsch, Nicolas Jalabert and Martin Elmiger.

Sevilla and Perez will help out Hamilton during the difficult stages in the Alps and Pyrenees. Pereiro, Gutierrez and Gonzalez should be able to bring to play their strengths in the mid-range mountains as well as the team time trials.

Jalabert, who has a lot of Tour de France experience, and the two Tour first-timers, Grabsch and Elmiger, complete the Phonak team as three all-round riders.
