One of the top proving grounds for aspiring juniors, the Tour de l' Abitibi (2.Ncup) and Coupe des Nations Abitibi return in 2009 to challenge national and trade teams from around the globe. Former American winners Nathan Brown (Nations Cup, 2008) and Taylor Phinney (Tour, 2007) have earned great success in the European peloton in 2009, with Brown winning Switzerland's Tour du Pays Vaud and Phinney the 2009 Paris-Roubaix U23.
