Pick Your Podium Rules

Entry deadline: Individual stage picks must be received by 8 A.M. EDT on the day of the stage to be eligible to win.

  • No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase the chances of winning.
  • Void where prohibited.
  • Prizes consist of the following:
    • First Place winner will receive: USAPC leader’s jersey signed by the overall winner. Approx. retail value of $125.00
    • 2nd Place winner will receive: VeloPress book package, including Tour de France 100 by Richard Moore, My Time by Bradley Wiggins, and Reading the Race by Jamie Smith and Chris Horner. Approx. retail value $73.00
    • 3rd Place winner will receive: 2-year digital subscription to the digital/tablet edition of Velo magazine. Approx. retail value $60.00
  • To enter, submit the 5 “cyclist picks” for each daily stage on the contest entry page. Aggregate total of points accumulated will determine the three (3) final winners
  • Prize winners will be selected based on the highest aggregate score derived from picking rider positions in the USA Pro Challenge race as follows:
    • Daily Stage: 5 points for correctly picking first place, 4 points for second, all the way down to 1 (one) point for 5th place. An additional point for picking a rider who finishes in the top five but not in the exact position you picked.
  • In the event of a tie for one or more prizes, the winner of that prize will be determined by random selection among the tied entries by a representative of Competitor Group.
  • Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
  • By entering this contest and supplying valid email address for entry, contestants agree to receive marketing and/or promotional email from contest sponsor(s).
  • All entrants agree to be bound by these Rules.

Contest Rules

  • The contest (“Contest”) is sponsored by Competitor Group, Inc. (“Competitor Group”), 9477 Waples Street, Suite 150, San Diego, CA 92121, and DiamondBack, Inc, who are solely responsible for conducting the Contest and for awarding the prizes described above. Competitor Group has the sole right to decide all matters and disputes arising from the contest and all decisions of Competitor Group are binding and final.
  • Entries must be received before the deadline specified above. Competitor Group is not responsible for late, lost, damaged or misdirected entries, or any technical malfunctions of the telephone network and/or transmission line, computer on-line system, computer equipment, hardware, software, or any combination thereof, or any entries that are late (including delayed data transmissions), tampered with, garbled, incomplete, misdirected, lost, mutilated, delayed, corrupted, mechanically duplicated, illegible or otherwise not in compliance with these rules & regulations. Competitor Group is not liable for damage to an entrant’s computer system in any way due to an entrant’s participation in the Contest or downloading any information in connection with the Contest, including without limitation any server failure, lost, delayed or corrupted data or other malfunction. Competitor Group reserves the right to modify or cancel the Contest in the event that it becomes technically corrupted or if there are other factors which are determined by Competitor Group to adversely affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest. Competitor Group is not liable in the event that any portion of the Contest is cancelled due to weather, fire, strike, acts of war or terrorism, or any other condition beyond their control.
  • Entrants agree that Competitor Group shall not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from acceptance/possession and/or use/misuse of prize/s or participation in the Contest. Entrants agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Competitor Group, as well as affiliated companies, and their employees, representatives, contractors, and advertisers from any and all liability, loss, damage, cost or claim relating to acceptance/possession and/or use/misuse of prize/s or participation in the Contest. The Contest is governed by the laws of the State of California and all claims relating to the Contest must be resolved in the federal or state courts located in San Diego County, California.
  • Entrants must be at least 21 years of age at the time of entry and legal residents of the US or the District of Columbia.
  • Employees of Competitor Group, other participating companies, and their advertising agencies (and members of the immediate families of each) may not enter.
  • Federal, state and local taxes are the responsibility of the winner. Prize awarded based on availability. All expenses not specifically part of the prize according to the contest entry page are the responsibility of the winner. Void where restricted by law; federal, state and local laws apply. No substitution for prize. Prize is not transferable, and is not redeemable for cash.
  • Potential winner will be notified by mail, telephone or e-mail. All potential winners are subject to verification, including without limitation, verification of eligibility, compliance with these Rules and completion of release forms. If attempted notification is returned as undeliverable, if a potential winner cannot be verified, or if a potential winner is otherwise unable to accept a prize, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner at Sponsor’s discretion.
