Tour de Vie Riding to Defeat Lou Gehrig’s Disease - Nov 7th, 2009
You can join hundreds of cyclists on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Pinellas County’s Walsingham Park for Tour de Vie. All proceeds from the event support programs for patients with ALS and research to find a cure for the devastating illness.
Tour de Vie is a cycling event designed for everyone - from the occasional rider to the experienced enthusiast. You can choose from one of three routes: 5 Mile Family Fun Ride, 25 Mile Challenge, or 100 K Century Loop. Each route takes riders through the scenic parks and cityscapes of Pinellas County. Riders will begin their adventure with a light breakfast and complete their journey with a Finish Line Celebration. The route is fully supported with crewed rest stops, SAG support, and fans to cheer the riders on.
The registration fee to participate is $35. That includes everything you need to make your ride fun and successful, including breakfast, snacks and hydration at all rest stops, SAG, medical support, bicycle mechanics, Finish Line Celebration, and more.
Additionally, all riders will be asked to reach a $150 fundraising minimum. But don’t worry, The ALS Association will help you every step of the way with tips and tools to make your fundraising goal a success.
