While Paolo Bettini and Tom Boonen remain the team’s headliners, younger teammates Giovanni Visconti, Alessandro Proni, Wouter Weylandt and Dmitri Grabovsky are starting to emerge as future stars. There are only three recruits, but Belgian champ Stijn Devolder will be an invaluable player in the spring classics and summer tours, while Matteo Carrara and Alexander Efimkin are much-needed GC riders for the shorter stage races.
